There is hereby established a Board of Examiners consisting of the Electrical Inspector and four members appointed by the Mayor. Such appointed members shall include one union electrical contractor, one non-union electrical contractor, one union journeyman electrician, and one non-union journeyman electrician, all of whom shall serve without compensation. The appointed members of the Board shall hold office for two years or until their successors have been appointed; however, the Mayor may remove any appointed member for inefficiency, neglect of duty, malfeasance, or misconduct in office before the expiration of the member’s term. The Electrical Inspector shall be the Secretary of the Board and shall preserve and keep all minutes, records, books and papers of the Board, and perform such other duties as may be required by the Board.
