In addition to any other provision set forth in this chapter, a permit shall be subject to revocation or suspension by the Building Commissioner whenever it appears that the work for which the permit was issued is being installed, erected, constructed, altered, repaired, added to, demolished or disposed of in violation of any of the terms upon which the permit was issued, in violation of any provisions of this Mechanical Code or any law or ordinance relating thereto, for failure or refusal to comply with any lawful order made by the Building Commissioner under the provisions of this Mechanical Code, or if the Building Commissioner determines that any of the information supplied by the applicant is false, incorrect, or otherwise misleading. The revocation or suspension of the permit shall be in writing, shall be served by the Building Commissioner upon the person or other entity the permit is issued to, and shall be posted upon the building or structure for which the permit was granted. From and after the permit revocation or suspension and the posting thereof, all labor shall be discontinued on any and all portions of the structure for which the permit was granted.
