(A) Any sworn law enforcement officer having law enforcement authority inside the City of Lima is hereby authorized to perform an inspection of any occupied building for which a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued or is required, and to take enforcement action to ensure compliance with the maximum occupancy limits set forth in such Certificate of Occupancy.
(B) Any building being occupied in excess of the maximum number of persons permitted by the Certificate of Occupancy may be ordered to be vacated by all guests or visitors if the person in charge or control of the building fails to appropriately reduce the occupancy to within the maximum occupancy limits set forth in such Certificate of Occupancy.
