(a) There is hereby adopted the Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of said Residential Code, as amended, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth herein in their entirety.
(b) There is hereby adopted the Ohio Building Code for buildings other than One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of said Building Code, as amended, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth herein in their entirety.
(c) There is hereby adopted Appendix F of the Council of American Building Officials (CABO) One and Two-Family Dwelling Code (1992 version), governing the design of barriers for residential swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs, and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of Appendix F are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth herein in their entirety.
(d) The Building Commissioner shall keep a complete copy of such codes on file for inspection by the public.
(e) If any portion of this code is found to be in conflict with any other provision of any other zoning, building, fire safety, property maintenance, or health ordinance of the City of Lima, Ohio, the provision which establishes the higher standard shall prevail.
(f) Nothing in this section, the Residential Code of Ohio, or the Ohio Building Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed.
