866.03   BOND OR INSURANCE.
   Along with such license application, the applicant shall file either a bond of five thousand dollars ($5,000), with sureties deemed adequate by the Building Commissioner, conditioned that the applicant will pay any lawful claims or judgments for damage, sustained by the Municipality or the public by reason of any act committed by the applicant under such license; or evidence that the applicant has public liability insurance in effect protecting him or her against any such claims or judgments, in the amount of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) with an insurance company qualified to write such insurance under the laws of the State. Such bond or insurance shall be in force from the date of its acceptance to the end of the calendar year and must be renewed annually on reissuance of the license.
