(A) The License and Permits Division shall provide applications for permits for home sales. Such applications shall include the name of the applicant who shall be a resident of the City, telephone number, address of the sale, nature of merchandise to be offered for sale, date(s) of sale, the date or dates of any other home sale within the current calendar year, and an affirmative statement that the property to be sold was owned by the applicant as his own personal property and was neither acquired or consigned for resale.
(B) The License and Permits Division shall charge a permit fee in the amount specified in Section 868.01 to the applicant for applications submitted in person at the License and Permits Division; however, applications submitted online, utilizing the Home Sale Permit Application form posted on the City of Lima website will be issued without charge. (C) Every licensee conducting a home sale shall keep the license posted in a prominent place upon the licensed premises and shall exhibit same upon request.
