(A) Any person engaged in the business of going about the City soliciting orders for goods, wares, merchandise or other articles for profit shall be deemed a solicitor and shall pay an annual license fee in the amount specified in Section 868.01.
(B) The fee required by subsection (A) hereof shall not apply to an employee of any person maintaining a regularly established bona fide place of business within the City or to any person taking orders for products of his own raising and manufacture.
