Any real estate owned by the City and not currently needed for a Municipal purpose may be rented on a month to month basis by the Mayor, without advertising for bids, provided that the Mayor first determines it is not practical to enter into a lease for property. Prior to entering into a rental agreement, the Mayor shall obtain approval of Council, by simple motion, of the terms of such agreement.
