280.01   PENALTY FOR CONTEMPT IN INVESTIGATIONS.
   Whoever, having been served with a subpoena legally issued in an investigation being conducted under authority of Section 45 of the City Charter, willfully fails to obey it; or whoever, being present before any person, body or committee conducting any such investigation, refuses to take an oath or make an affirmation, or, being sworn or affirmed, refuses to answer a question required by such person, body or committee to be answered; or whoever fails to produce, upon reasonable notice, books, papers, documents, records and other evidence in his possession or under his control, pertinent to such investigation, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both.
