The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to furnish without charge to the Mayor, the Judges of the Lima Municipal Court, the Clerk of the Municipal Court, each member of Council, all other elected officials, the head of each department and division of the City and the employees of each department and division, as may be requested by the director or head thereof, one copy and the supplements thereto of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lima, Ohio, 1975, such volumes to remain the property of the City and to be used by the aforementioned officers and employees in the discharge of their official duties. Additional copies and supplements of the Codified Ordinances may be furnished without charge by the Clerk of Council to other public officers, upon request for the same to the Clerk of Council and after approval of such request by the Mayor. It is the duty of the Clerk of Council to keep an accurate list of all volumes furnished without charge to all officers and employees.
The Clerk of Council shall also have authority to exchange copies of the Codified Ordinances with other cities extending a like courtesy to the City of Lima. The Clerk of Council shall prepare and distribute, periodically, the amendments and supplements to the Codified Ordinances.
