§ 51.04  DISPOSAL OF EFFLUENT FROM CARWASH.
   If the owner of any carwash within the town limits desires to dispose of the effluent from the carwash he or she shall comply with the following requirements.
   (A)   The owner shall install a sedimentation pit with a turn-down drain system, approved by the town, through which all wastewater must pass before entering the town’s system. The owner shall cover all pits with a roof to keep out stormwater.
   (B)   The owner shall cover all turn down pipes with screen mesh, said mesh shall be no greater than one-tenth inch.
   (C)   The owner shall clean out all sedimentation pits with such frequency as will not allow the sediment to reach closer than six inches from the turn down pipe.
   (D)   The owner shall prevent any oil drainage, from crankcase, transmission or other mechanical devices, from entering the town’s wastewater system.
   (E)   The owner shall prevent any stormwater from roofs, parking lots or other areas from draining onto the pits or the town’s wastewater system.
   (F)   The owner shall allow the town’s personnel to inspect the premises of the carwash for compliance with this chapter.
   (G)   In addition to other penalties provided for in the town’s ordinances, violation of this section shall result in interruption of the water supply to the carwash until compliance with all of the hereinabove requirements.
