A Flatwoods Rural Fire District Advisory Board, hereafter referred to as the “Board”, for the town is hereby created and shall consist of five members, appointed by the Town Board. The Board, serving in an advisory capacity to the Town Board, will be composed of members which are residents of the Flatwoods Rural Fire District. Each member shall serve for a term of three years. Vacancies in the membership of the Board shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment of the Town Board. The members of the Board shall serve without compensation. The Fire Chief shall serve as staff liaison to the Board.
