There is hereby created a Recreation Board which shall consist of five members, appointed by the Town Board. One member from in or out of the town; three members shall be residents of the town and two members from out of town. Each member shall serve for a term of three years and until his or her successor is appointed and qualifies. Vacancies in the membership of the Recreation Board shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment of the Town Board. The members of the Recreation Board shall serve without compensation.
