§ 96.01  ENCROACHMENTS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to encroach upon the streets or sidewalks of the town by erecting any piazza, porch, shed, stoop, paling, chimney or other building or structure, or by means of any open cellar, pit or open entrance to a basement or cellar.
   (B)   Any construction work, not authorized by the town, in the right-of-way of any street or sidewalk of the town shall be stopped forthwith upon discovery that such construction work encroaches upon such right-of-way.
