A. The Liberty Lake Salary Commission shall be composed of three (3) members appointed by the Mayor with confirmation by the City Council. Salary Commissioners must be residents of the City of Liberty Lake. No member of the Commission shall be an immediate family member of the Mayor or City Council.
B. For purposes of this chapter, "immediate family member" means the public officials' spouse, registered domestic partner, child, parent, brother and sister, mother and father-in-law, son and daughter-in-law, aunt and uncle, grandparents, grandchildren, step relatives, domestic partner relatives in one of these relationships.
