(A) The town has established and installed a water meter system for the purpose of furnishing and supplying the inhabitants and all firms, corporations, companies, churches, public school buildings and other public buildings in the town with water, under and subject to the restrictions and upon the conditions set out in this chapter.
(B) All water drawn in any place from the Waterworks shall pass through a meter that shall correctly measure the quantity of water so passing, except water passing through fire hydrants.
(C) The town may, at its own option, install a water meter for all persons, churches, school buildings or all other public buildings in town, which are now using or that my hereafter desire to use and be supplied with water by the town from the Waterworks.
