§ 31.03 CREDIT CARD USE.
   (A)   The need to use credit cards has arisen, and the Liberty Town Council wishes to establish a policy for such use.
   (B)   For fuel purchases at Energy Plus, it is to be a two-card system. One card assigned for each vehicle, and one card assigned to each employee. The employee is responsible for charges made on his or her card, so employees should not exchange cards. Employees are to report any problems (such as lost cards), to the Clerk-Treasurer immediately. Upon termination of employment card must be returned to the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (C)   For purchases on Lowe’s cards or any other cards the department head must get prior approval of items to be purchased. Pick up credit card the day the purchase is to be made from the Clerk-Treasurer, and return it the same day. Department head is responsible for purchases made while card is in their care.
   (D)   It is the responsibility of each employee to see that all tickets related to the charges are turned into the Clerk-Treasurer’s office. If all documents related to the charge are not turned in then the employee making the charges is responsible for that charge until such documents are turned in.
