Whenever any work is being done contrary to the provisions of this chapter, the Executive Director of the County Planning Department may order the work stopped by notice in writing served on any persons engaged in the doing or causing the work to be done, and any of these persons shall forthwith stop the work until authorized by the Executive Director of the County Planning Department to proceed with the work.
