Bulky items, excluded from the definition of trash, can be picked up on collection day. The Town Administration building will have to be informed of the bulky item pick up 72 hours before collection day in order to coordinate the pick up with the trash contractor. Televisions cannot exceed 32 inches for curbside pick-up. Any mattress or upholstered furniture must be completely sealed in disposable plastic for removal. The town will put the customer in contact with the trash contractor directly if the customer is wanting to dispose of a refrigerator, air conditioner or other items which normally contain CFC's (freon).
