§ 91.01 ADOPTION.
   (A)   There is hereby adopted by the Town Council for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire and explosion that certain codes known as this chapter recommended by the American Insurance Association, being particularly the current edition thereof, of which chapter not less than two copies have been and are now filed in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the town, and standards for the adoption of gas appliances and gas piping as set forth in the current edition of No. 45, NFPA, also Standards for the Storage and Handling of Liquid Petroleum Gases, as set forth in the current edition of No. 58, NFPA, also the Fire Prevention Code of the State of Indiana, and the National Fire Prevention Code.
   (B)   (1)   If there should be an existing conflict between the applicable codes, the code found to be more stringent shall apply.
      (2)   These same codes are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out in length herein and from the date on which this chapter shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the town.
