(A) Any animal seized under the provisions of this subchapter will be safely and humanely confined while its ultimate disposition is determined.
(B) If no person other than the keeper or owner objects, the animal will be humanely killed under the supervision of the Animal Control Officer.
(C) If a person deemed fit to keep the animal by the Animal Control Officer of the town objects
and requests control of the animal, ownership may be transferred to the person.
