It shall be unlawful for any person to dig into, excavate in, or in any manner change the surface of any sidewalk, street, alley or other public place within the town without first having obtained a written permit from the Clerk-Treasurer or any administrative agent so appointed by the Clerk-Treasurer. The permittee shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer or agent the sum of $10 for the permit. The $10 permit fee will be receipted into miscellaneous revenue for the MVH Fund.
