531.03 MOTOR VEHICLE NOISE.
   (a)   No person shall cause the noise level from the operation of a light motor vehicle in excess of 80 dBA at any location within the Village. Measurement can be made at any distance greater than or equal to fifty feet from the closest approach to the vehicle at any suitable site.
   (b)   No person shall operate a light motor vehicle so as to cause excessive noise levels as a result of a defective or modified exhaust system or as the result of unnecessary rapid acceleration, revving of engine or squealing of tires or as the result of operation of audio devices such as but not limited to radios, tape players, CD players, etc.
   (c)   No person shall operate any vehicle horn, siren or other audible signaling devices on any motor vehicle except in an emergency or when required by law.
