379.02 RESTRICTIONS.
   (a)   No person shall do any of the following upon the bike-way:
      (1)   Operate any type of motorized vehicle or equipment except:
         A.   Emergency vehicles;
         B.   Maintenance vehicles; or
         C.   Electric wheel chairs for the disabled.
      (2)   Be present on the bike-way during other than daylight hours.
      (3)   Allow any animal on the bike-way except a guide dog for the sight impaired or any other dog on a leash of two feet or less.
      (4)   Litter or otherwise leave, drop or deposit any waste material on the bike- way or adjacent property.
      (5)   Damage, deface or destroy any public or private property.
      (6)   Leave the paved portion of the bike-way.
      (7)   Use the bike-way as a means of trespassing upon other public or private property.
      (8)   Possess or consume any alcoholic beverage or illegal drug or other hallucinogenic substance.
      (9)   Enter or leave the bike-way at other than an authorized location.
      (10)   Disregard any traffic control device on the bike-way.
      (11)   Possess or use any fireworks, firearm, BB pellet, paintball or similar air- powered weapon, bow or crossbow.
      (12)   Hunt, trap, injure, kill or unnecessarily disturb any bird, reptile or other animal.
      (13   Release any domestic or wild or exotic animals on or along this bike-way.
      (14)   Light or maintain any fire on the bike-way.
      (15)   Post or display any advertising or other signs except those approved by the Richland County Park District and/or the Village of Lexington.

      (16)   Loiter or stop except for emergencies on that part of the trail underneath the bridge, which carries East Main Street over the Clear Fork River.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. (Ord. 95-45. Passed 8-21-95.)
