A deposit of $25.00 is required for all parade and motorcade permits. In addition, Village Council may impose as a condition of the granting of a parade or motorcade permit such additional costs as are estimated to be necessary to pay the cost of providing police officers, Street Department employees, other Village employees, or independent contractors, to control the parade or motorcade or to clean public streets, parks, or other property which may become necessary as a result of the parade or motorcade. Council may waive the additional costs for a parade or motorcade permit if it determines that it is in the public interest to do so. Upon approval of a parade or motorcade permit by Council, the Village Administrative Director shall issue the same provided the applicant agrees to all terms and conditions which Council imposes including the payment of the deposit and the additional costs as provided in this section. After the event, the deposit shall be refunded provided all conditions of the permit have been followed.
