Large commercial signs will fall under the jurisdiction of the Ohio Building Code. All signs shall be constructed in conformance with the Ohio Building Code and any applicable electrical code for illuminated signs and shall be subject to inspection by the Richland County Building Codes and Permits Department. All sign piers, foundations, posts or columns and structural steel components shall be designed by a registered professional architect or engineer and stamped and sealed with their registration number.
