1511.06 APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT TO BURN LAND CLEARING WASTE.
   (a)   The owner of a construction site or the general contractor for the construction project may apply to the Ohio EPA for a permit to burn land clearing waste. For the purpose of this section, land clearing waste shall include trees, limbs, stumps, and other woody herbaceous material cleared from a site to allow for the installation of utilities, roadways, and the development of building sites. Processed lumber, cardboard, and other packaging materials, or other construction debris may not be burned. The permit application shall include all of the information required in Section 1511.04.
   (b)   If a permit is granted by the Ohio EPA to burn land clearing waste, a copy of that permit shall be forwarded to the Village of Lexington Administrative Director and to the Fire Chief or Fire Prevention Officer of the township in which the open burning shall occur.
