In addition to its legal obligation to make public records available upon request, the Village has a comparable obligation not to release documents containing information which is confidential or protected by the right of privacy as defined by the Ohio Supreme Court. Information that is confidential or private will be redacted from all records before release. In the case of doubt as to whether a document should be released at all or with some information redacted, the Law Director shall be consulted. (Ord. 05-16. Passed 3-21-05.)
