Applicants for connection with the municipal mains for the purpose of obtaining a supply of water for a sprinkler system must first furnish plans and specifications of the same to the Administrative Director for his approval. Plans or blue prints showing the fire system as completed, with all measurements, outlets, detector check etc., must be filed with the office of the Administrative Director before water will be supplied to the system from the municipal water system. Pipes intended for fire protection must not be tapped or used for the general supply of any building, structure or premises.
