5-1-2: DOG POUND:
The city council shall provide suitable premises and facilities to be used as a city dog and estrayed animal pound wherein impounded animals can be adequately kept and shall provide suitable facilities for the humane execution of dogs required to be destroyed by this chapter or by the laws of the state. (1980 Code § 13-242)
