No license required by this chapter shall be granted by the city council until the applicant shall have filed with the city recorder a bond in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), as required by Utah Code Annotated section 32A-10-205, as amended. The bond shall be made in favor of the city, shall be required for each license, regardless of which class to which it relates, and shall be conditioned upon the licensee's faithful compliance with this section, in addition to the compliance required by said section of the state code.
