For the purpose of providing minimum standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property, and public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, use, and occupancy, location, and maintenance of the buildings and structures and certain equipment within the City, that edition of the Building Code, including any amendments, as adopted by the Utah Uniform Building Codes Commission as the construction standard to be adhered to by subdivisions of the State 1 is adopted by Lewiston City, together with administration sections of the Code.
