8-1-6: SCARCITY OF WATER:
In time of scarcity of water, whenever it shall be in the judgment of the city council necessary, the city council shall by proclamation limit the use of water for other than domestic purposes, and in their discretion provide that sprinkling shall only be used on alternate days, or prohibited entirely. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section or any proclamation made by the city council in pursuance thereof shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor and, upon conviction, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
