(A) Rate schedule. Charges for the services of the waterworks system shall be as follows:
For Water Service Within the City Limits
First 2,000 gallons | $9.34 (minimum bill) |
All over 2,000 gallons
| $4.31 per 1,000 gallons |
For Rural Water Service (All Services Outside City Limits)
First 2,000 gallons | $17.28 (minimum bill) |
All over 2,000 gallons | $5.76 per 1,000 gallons |
(B) Meter deposit. The meter deposit for water service to each location shall be $50. Upon discontinuance of service, the meter deposit will be refunded to the customer in full, less any outstanding balance due.
(C) Delinquency. Customers of water service shall be disconnected if their account is not paid in full nine days following the date of the delinquent notice mailed to the customer.
