(A) There is hereby created the office of Clerk of the City of Lewisport.
(B) The powers and duties of this office are hereby established as those contained or set forth in KRS 83A.085 and any other applicable statutes, those included in the class specifications of the city's classification plan, and related duties as requested.
(C) The oath of office to be executed by the City Clerk shall be that set forth in Section 228 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
(D) Before entering on the duties of this office, the City Clerk shall execute bond, with a corporate surety authorized and qualified to become surety on bond in this state, in the amount of $75,000.
(E) Compensation for this office shall be included in the budget each year.
(F) The Personnel Policies and Procedures of the city shall apply to this office.
