It shall be unlawful for any resident, owner, occupant or person within the corporate limits of the city to burn trash and other debris thereon or within the city limits without having obtained permission from the Chief of the Fire Department or his designee. However, leaves and tree limbs may be burned without permission from the Fire Chief or his designee provided said leaves and tree limbs are burned in a safe manner.
