§ 150.01 BUILDING AND HOUSING INSPECTOR; BUILDING OFFICIAL.
   (A)   There is hereby created the Office of Building and Housing Inspector. The Building and Housing Inspector shall be ex officio to the building official required to be appointed by this city under the provisions of M.S. § 326B.133, as it may be amended from time to time, and he or she shall have the qualifications, and be certified, as provided in M.S. § 16.861, as it may be amended from time to time.
   (B)   The Building and Housing Inspector shall administer and enforce the provisions of the Housing Code and shall issue the permits, certificates, notices and orders as provided therein, and he or she shall have other powers and perform other duties as may be prescribed for his or her office by this Code and other ordinances, resolutions and orders of the City Council.
   (C)   The Building and Housing Inspector, in his or her ex officio capacity as building official, shall have the powers and perform the duties of the office of building official as provided by state law and the State Building Code, and as provided by this code and other ordinances, resolutions and orders of the City Council not consistent with state law or the State Building Code.
