§ 32.25 ABSENCE OF SUPERINTENDENT.
   In the absence of a Superintendent of Parks and Recreation (duties qualified and appointed under I.C. 36-10-3-13), the Town Manager, or the Town Manager’s designee, shall perform the following duties for the Parks Department:
   (A)   Supervise the general administration of the department;
   (B)   Keep the records of the department and preserve all papers and documents of the department;
   (C)   Recommend full- and part-time employees to be hired by the Board, if the Board determines there is a need;
   (D)   Supervise the employees of the department subject to the approval of the Board and the Town Council, according to the standards and qualifications fixed by the Board and the Town Council and without regard to political affiliation;
   (E)   Organize and supervise volunteers at Park Board functions;
   (F)   Prepare and present to the Board a report at the Board’s regular monthly meetings; and
   (G)   Perform other duties that the Board directs, which shall not conflict with the Town Manager’s general duties as set by the Town Council.
