10-3-2: FOUNDATION HEIGHTS:
Unless approved to the contrary by the village engineer or village building inspector, the foundation of every residence, garage or other structures located within the corporate limits of the village shall be planned and constructed in such a manner that the top of the foundation shall be no greater than two feet (2') higher than the elevation of the centerline of each road abutting the property upon which such structure is located. Any person, firm, or corporation who constructs any structure in violation of the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
