6-1-7: RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The chief of police may make and prescribe such rules and regulations for the hours of duty, vacations, uniforms and conduct of the members of the police department as he shall deem advisable, and such rules, when approved by the village council, shall be binding on such members. (1966 Code § 3.008)
