A. Storage Restrictions: It shall be unlawful to store any fireworks in the village except as may be necessary for the performance of a licensed public exhibition of pyrotechnics, as hereinafter provided. Any such storage must be under the supervision of and subject to the approval of the commissioner of public health and safety.
B. Sales Of Fireworks: It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale any fireworks or pyrotechnics in the village; provided, that public exhibitions of fireworks and pyrotechnics may be given if a permit therefor be granted by the council. Such exhibitions shall be given subject to the supervision of the commissioner of public health and safety, or of some person designated by him. (1966 Code § 18.401)
