A. It shall be deemed a violation of this section punishable as a Class C violation in accordance with section 1-4-1 of this Code, to engage in the following acts:
1. Operating a motor vehicle with no registration as required by State law.
2. Improper display of registration through the use of tinting or other obstruction to line of sight as provided by the Illinois Vehicle Code as now or hereafter amended.
3. Failing to come to a complete and full stop at a crosswalk where stops are required.
4. Operating a vehicle with either music or mufflers able to be heard, in the case of music, from more than seventy five feet (75') away and in the case of mufflers louder than those installed by the original vehicle manufacturer.
5. Parking a motor vehicle on the streets of Leland Grove with a registration which is expired and has been expired for a period equal to or in excess of thirty (30) days.
6. Operating a motor vehicle while texting messages or otherwise utilizing in violation of State law prohibiting other than hands free use of cellular devices.
7. Operating a vehicle with windows tinted in violation of State law including but not limited to after-market application to the windshield or driver or front passenger door windows as provided by the Illinois Vehicle Code as now or hereafter amended. (Ord. 421, 2-27-2018)
