It shall be unlawful for the driver of any motor vehicle to drive into the following intersections without first completely stopping his or her vehicle as required by the City and State Statute. The stop signs provided for herein and the installation thereof shall conform to the requirements of the "Uniform Manual on Traffic Control Devices" published by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Any person violating any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. (2008 Code)
