For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
HEARING OFFICER. Members of the Leitchfield Code Enforcement Board.
OWNER. The holder of any title in fee simple and every mortgage of record.
PARTIES IN INTEREST. All individuals, associations and corporations who have interests of record in a structure and/or who are in possession thereof.
PUBLIC AUTHORITY. Any officer who is in charge of any department or branch of the government of the city, county or state relating to health, fire, building regulations, or to other activities concerning structures in the city.
PUBLIC OFFICER. The City of Leitchfield Code Enforcement Officer.
STRUCTURE. Any building or part thereof, used or occupied, or intended for use or occupancy, for human habitation, or commercial or industrial purposes, and includes any outbuildings and appurtenances belonging thereto or usually enjoyed therewith as well as mobile or manufactured homes as defined in KRS 227.550.
