§ 150.01 ADOPTION OF KENTUCKY BUILDING CODE AND STANDARDS OF SAFETY; ENFORCEMENT AGENTS.
   (A)   The Kentucky Building Code, including the CABO One And Two Family Dwelling Code, as promulgated in 815 KAR 7:105 by the Board of Housing, Buildings and Construction, Commonwealth of Kentucky together with any amendments, is hereby adopted by reference for full application on all building construction in the city as if set out at length in the Code of Ordinances. A copy of the Kentucky Building Code together with a copy of all other regulations or NFPA pamphlets adopted or referred to thereunder, is on file in the Office of the Grayson County Clerk, and the Clerk shall at all time keep a copy of the building code for reference.
   (B)   The Leitchfield Building Inspector, shall be designated as the local enforcement agent for the Kentucky Building Code. All inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction, and the fee for obtaining such inspections and permits shall be as established by the Planning and Zoning Code.
   (C)   The application of the Kentucky Building Code is hereby extended to require permits, inspections and certificates of occupancy for the construction or alteration of all single family dwellings to be constructed in the city.
   (D)   The State Building Inspector shall be designated as the local enforcement agent for the Kentucky Building Code, for commercial property.
   (E)   The Fire Chief and all other designated officers, agents, and employees of the city are hereby charged with the enforcement of the provisions of the Standards of Safety.
