§ 114.01 DEFINITION.

For the purpose of this chapter, QUARRY or MINING OPERATION shall mean the taking of any rock or mineral from an open pit in the ground, or by tunnel or shaft within the ground, for sale, either as raw rock or mineral, or as a manufactured product, and all machinery and equipment necessary for the extraction, mining or manufacture of rock or mineral.
