For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AUTOMOBILE, VEHICLE
or
MACHINERY JUNKYARD.
Any place where two (2) or more junked, wrecked or non-operative automobiles, vehicles, machines and/or other similar scrap or salvage materials are deposited, parked, placed or otherwise located. The term
NON-OPERATIVE AUTOMOBILES
or
VEHICLES
also includes vehicles which are not currently licensed for operation on a public road as well as those which because of missing or defective parts or other deficiencies cannot be legally operated upon a public road without being in violation of the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
OPERATOR
or
OPERATORS.
A person, firm or corporation either operating an automobile, vehicle, machinery or material junkyard or the allowing of such automobile, vehicle, machinery or material junkyard to be placed or deposited, or to remain on premises owned or controlled by such person, firm or corporation.
PERSON.
Any individual, firm, agency, company, association, partnership, business trust, joint stock company, body politic or corporation.
ROAD.
Any public street within the corporate limits of the city.
