(A) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to park a motor vehicle or obstruct any part of a public passway or entrance to a building designated by law or the Fire Chief as a "fire lane". Each such fire lane shall be designated as such by a sign conspicuously posted by the Fire Department, the Police Department or othe Department of Public Works of the city, upon the Fire Chief certifying the same to the City Council and entered in the minutes of the Council.
(B) Any vehicle parking in violated of division (A) of this section may, in addition to the penalty provided in § 72.99, be towed away at the expense of the violator upon the order of any Fire Department officer or any peace officer of the city.
