Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall upon conviction or plea of guilty be fined in any sum not less than $10 nor more than $100. Each day during which any person, firm, or corporation engages in the business of itinerant merchant or solicitor in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
