§ 72.643  EXCESSIVE ACCELERATION OF AN AUTOMOBILE FROM A STOPPED POSITION.
   (A)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle upon any public highway, street, road, or alley within the village, except when necessary in any emergency in such manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated or started from a stopped position that the tires of such vehicle squeal or leave tire marks upon the public highway, street, road or alley, such action commonly called “peeling”.
   (B)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle upon any public highway, street, road, or alley within the village, except when necessary in any emergency in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated or started from a stopped position that the exhaust system of said vehicle emits a loud, cracking, or chattering noise, unusual to its normal operation.
   (C)   Whoever violates this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more then $50.
